Present Tense presents a community gathering to learn more about the possible loss of the Orchard Grove Mobile Home community in Boulder at Valmont and 30th Street. Orchard Grove Mobile Home community is a lively and truly affordable community of 400 people, who stand to lose everything if the owner of Orchard Grove succeeds in being allowed by the City Council to sell the property to a developer. The developer states he will include some "affordable housing" in any development project, but the Boulder affordable housing rate is higher than what most residents currently living at Orchard Grove can afford. Residents of Orchard Grove will present a slide show about the community and there will be a panel discussion including City Council Members and Orchard Grove organizers.
